Patients for lower economic background struggle to make both ends meet. They often can’t afford healthy food during treatment phase. MSMF makes sure that they get ample supply of healthy food during their days of chemotherapy, by providing banana, eggs, almonds and biscuits. We reach out to 1000 patients in a month through the nutritional supplement program.
MSMF seeks the support of various Pharmaceutical companies through donation of drugs which can be offered to the patients free of cost, taking away the huge burden of chemotherapy drugs, takes away half of the stress on the patients and their families.
Children stay away from school and friends for a long time during their treatment. MSCC has a playroom for the children to provide them with entertainment options during their hospital stay. MSMF has provided the children with games, books and toys so that they take away good memories with them when they go home.
MSMF has been working actively with the rural community for the past one year conducting free oral cancer and breast cancer screening. MSMF has now initiated the urban screening as well. The poor patients diagnosed through the screening program are supported by MSMF for further treatment.
